This is my
version of
creativity.
Having a love of the theatre and performing arts began from an early age.
I pursued my interest in acting, dance and music in and outside of school and joined the open-air Shakespeare theatre company at Tolethorpe whilst studying A-Levels in related subjects. This allowed me to go on and study at London Studio Centre, majoring in choreography and obtaining a degree in Musical Theatre (2012) then at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama gaining a Masters in Classical Acting (2013).
Public productions in training were Nearchus in The Broken Heart (RCSSD), Herdsman in The Bacchai(RCSSD), and Ernst in Spring Awakening (LSC).
On graduating I performed as a dancer in the ITV production The Great Fire working with choreographer Paul Harris.
I reconnected with five actor friends to form a theatre company Shakespeare On the Run especially for the Edinburgh Fringe (2014) to perform Bottoms Dream an adaptation of A Midsummer Nights Dream featuring just fairies and mechanicals. I played Puck and Flute and worked on creating a suitable movement language and contrast between the two roles each of the company members were playing.
I went on to choreograph ballet film In the Spotlight (2016) and at Christmas I performed as a dancer/singer in the ensemble of The Adventures of Dick! The adult pantomime at the Leicester Square Theatre (2016).
Since then, I was contacted to be an actor/dancer playing a Paresis Hall Boy in Caleb Carr’s The Alienistfor TNT Paramount, directed by Jakob Verbruggen and Movement Director Alexandra Reynolds. This will be on Netflix in 2018. Recent credits include leading roles in short films ‘AVA’ (2019) and ‘The Brass Elephant in The Room’ (2020).
