Bottom's Dream
Bottom’s Dream

–
overview
‘I have had a most rare vision. I had a dream…’
A funny fast-paced version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, mischievous fairies mingle and meddle with a troupe of inept actors rehearsing a play. When Bottom, the pompous leading man, is transformed into an ass by the knavish sprite Puck, mayhem ensues. The eventual performance of the play is a ridiculous disaster and a hilarious end to this uproarious romp of a comedy.

‘Saunders plays Flute who reluctantly plays Thisbe in a dress, hitched up, comically…a magnificent cast acting brilliantly’ – Atomies
